Thank you for posting the vid. Like others, I share the concern that the lower leg injuries that Jackson suffered last season may have sapped some of his speed.
But as alyo pointed out, the deep ball from Hurts shows that he can still burn. A couple of other observations from the video:
1) Not only does he still possess his speed, but he has the ability to separate at the top of the - sometimes with just a subtle change in angle of attack.
2) His tracking on deep passes is very good.
3) Though I've never known him to make spectacular receptions, Jackson seems to make the catches he
should make.
I thought the Rams might have looked at John Ross for this role (and maybe they did), but Jackson is a proven commodity with knowledge of McVay's system.
