Because after the trade, there's no need to keep kicking on Goff. It would be an awful look to continue blaming Goff. They already moved on from what they felt was the primary problem. But as many of us have been saying, Goff wasn't the only issue.
McVay was part of the problem. I think most saw and acknowledged that. Fortunately, McVay has never been shy about being accountable for his failures. He also has a history of learning from them and coming back better. Hopefully, that happens this time too.
Kromer is out too now. We may not know exactly why but his late exist is some indication that McVay wants changes and improvement on the OL too. Hopefully, we see improvement there.
Goff, McVay, and the OL. Those aren't the only issues with the offense and why it was ranked 23rd but I feel they were the big 3 reasons. It looks to me like McVay is trying to address all three.
