Exactly Rams Brother, exactly. Also cut your losses as we know the NFL is a business, move on from the mistakes as mistakes are just going to happen of course you want to keep them to a min but sometimes it just dont happen that way. But our Rams are a Org now that isnt going to wallow in the mistake. When my sons and I were watching McVay talk yesterday about our recent Hires etc you see can see of course he is very intelligent well spoken and a combination of many Coaches. He is growing as a HC right before our eyes. We all are Very Appreciative and glad we Hired him who wouldnt as to what us Rams Fans have been thru the previous 12 yrs, I see so many different Great Coaches in him as he speaks, I could go on and on of what coaches.. Wisdom comes with age unfortunately some just age. But McVay is special. He has mentioned reading Bill Walshs Book building a Champion and John Woodens book also along with many others. But seeing McVay move on from JG reminded me of Bill Walsh saying getting rid of a player a yr too soon then a yr to late. I have a Library of Books on our Rams and the NFL so I have that book by Bill Walsh and yes its the whiners, but its a great read. I remember Bill Walsh hoping he would have got hired by the Rams as he called them the Best Org in the NFL at that time. He had a lot of respect for Rams Longtime GM Don Klosterman. Rosenbloom was the owner then but Paul Brown told Rosenbloom he didnt think Walsh was ready to be a HC yet ouch ! Well Paul Brown as the Owner of the Bengals it was his Bengals that got beat twice in the SB by his former OC Walsh he didnt think was ready. But in Walshs Book he wasnt sure if he could take another yr as Steve Deberg was his QB and he mentioned he was just good enough to get you beat sometimes as his inconsistencies were maddening so he came to the conclusion to trade him to Denver. Ironically Deberg ended up being traded later from Denver to Tampa. Of course there was a QB in Tampa named Steve Young who was 3-16 as a Starter lol ! Like Stafford he didnt block, or play Defense and tackle or kick FGs and Extra Points, also he had to play a little RB like Stafford in Detroit too lol ! Anyhow just a little story lol ! from this Long Longtime Rams/HFL Fan ! GO RAMS !
