My three:
1. SB 36! The Patriots cheated the week prior to the game, as was documented but then destroyed... and the officials packed their whistles away... and Lovie's D played too loosely on the final drive... and the officials let the clock run out the final 2-3 seconds after Vinateri's FG had gone through the uprights. (Who knows if the Rams could've schemed a "Music City Miracle"-type KORT?) But the NFL, post 9/11, was not about to not let a team called the Patriots not win the Super Bowl.
2. SB 49! Pete Carroll tried, on the final play-call, to prove himself smarter than Belichick instead of simply letting his players settle it on the field as they had done by dominating the last drive. I'm sure it's documented elsewhere, but I'll bet Belichick and the NE staff was amazed that a pass from the 1-yard line was called with Lynch relegated to simply window-dressing.
3. SB 14! A heroic effort by the unheralded Rams, who had proud champion Pittsburgh up against the ropes more than it had imagined. Noll's HOF players had to really come through to pull out their fourth SB win, which was far closer a ballgame than the final 31-19 score indicated. (But I suppose that's why they're HOFers...)
Footnote: Brady is very, very good, indeed perhaps the GOAT... but I'd tolerate him more if his SB record were, say, 4-6 instead of 7-3. Two of my three games on this list would've helped in that regard.
