Thomas Brown....What's not to like? After one year, the revolving door at RB, they all shined & it's possible the Rams might draft another. Brown balances McVay well, now again with success comes poaching, but Thomas Brown is on the rise and it won't be long to he's a Head Coach in the NFL or running a major program at the collegiate level.
An excerpt from an article in today's turfshowtimes:
The Los Angeles Rams announced the hiring of five new assistant coaches on Tuesday, as well as the promotion of running backs Thomas Brown to assistant head coach. Brown will also continue to coach running backs, but it is a notable show of faith to replace former assistant head coach Joe Barry with Brown.
Brown was the running backs coach at South Carolina in 2019 following three years of being the offensive coordinator at the University of Miami. A sixth round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in 2008, when Les Snead was serving as a pro scout about to get a promotion within the organization a year later, Brown can now be considered one of McVay’s most prominent assistants.
