I could see that but I think getting a cb with one of the thirds is more likely as at the moment at least they have some more pressing holes.
Given that they typically draft for the next year anyway, I see CB as being pretty high on the list. They haven't really relied on rookies needing to make an immediate impact since McVay has arrived.
We'll have to wait and see what happens in FA but usually, Snead addresses the acute needs there.
I'm sure they'll have some vet center that can start signed in FA - be it Mack, Garland, or Blythe resigned.
I'm sure edge will be addressed in FA one way or the other. According to Snead, they can afford to resign Floyd. And looking at their cap, I think they'll make a heroic effort to do so. But if it's not him, they will address that position with someone else.
By the time we get to the draft, my guess based on the past, is that the "pressing holes" will have been plugged and they will target positions that need reinforcement for next year.
