No....
No Eskridge isn't a gadget guy based on what I've seen

My concern is the arc of transition from College to the Pros.
As Deadpool noted in his thread, one nice thing about working from the slot is that as a norm those guys don't get the press / man; ultimately giving them more room to operate.

Still, of the speedsters I've watched Eskridge, and Darden show well.

I know that scores of folks here like to dismiss the combine, but it is so helpful to see how some players respond to the enormity, and stressors of the event.
For instance, I do think that the gauntlet offers the exact kind of stress test that helps define how some will tolerate the next level of coaching and playing.
And, yeah, while it might be pajama / eye candy round up, it lets me compare apples to apples.

I watch, and obviously our front office watches the shuttle; Cuz so much happens in football within yards of the line of scrimmage.

BTW, both of these WRs showed very well in snatching up the rock over the middle and making things happen.
While I don't see them as gadgets, I do think that as rookies they'll have limitations. Think sub-packages.

Deadpool mentions Stephen Carr of USC in his liner notes. There's a kid a would have like to see more of at the combine. He plays well, and maybe didn't see the ball as much as he could have at another campus. There's also this kid, Watkins. But I digress.

If there's a good reason to work a deal with a vet WR? We didn't see much of youngster Reynolds the season he was drafted. Only as a sub package type. Also, if the Rams are "all in" on this season to get the big show, I have some reluctance feeling that a rook can tip the scales are way.
