The Kromer thing is unusual.

Just curious if we knew the contract status of any of the departing coaches. It's one thing to leave for a promotion while still under contract and a slightly different thing to have your contract end and not want to return. A third thing entirely if the team isn't interested in bringing you back.

Though it definitely sounds like Kromer was still under contract.
