Can Morris get the Rams D play better situational defense than Staley?
What I mean is....
- 3rd or 4th quarter and the defense needs to make a stop. Can they get it? (Even with the #1 defense, the Rams held a lead but could not close out Buffalo & SF
- Staley excelled at making 2nd half adjustments. Can Morris match, or at least stay one step ahead?
- What new twists can Morris make to counter the dual-RBs-put-one-in-motion-and-run-up-the-middle that GB uncovered in the divisional round?
- Will Morris bring in an ILB or edge that will enhance our ability to get after the QB - he blitzes 33% while the Rams under Staley only 24%. What results can we expect?
I expect a lesser performing defense with better situational D leading to more wins. At least, in theory, that's the way it *should* work.
