Was on another Rams Fan site several years ago. I think it was also posted on here some years ago. It tells of a Fan's memory of watching the Rams Beat Dallas, in the 1979 Playoffs, with his Brothers and Dad and remembering how they all jumped up n down together when Waddy scored. They crashed into a table and onto the floor together. What really got me was his recollection of seeing the faces up close and I believe since, his Brother and Dad had passed.
That story hits home with me more than the first time I read it. My very first memory of watching the Rams was the 1976 Playoff, 14 to 12 win. I watched that with my Dad and Brother as we put up our Christmas tree. I lost my Brother in May 2011 and my Dad in Aug 2013. Yeah. There's a HELLUVA lot more to being a fan than simply memories of guys playing a game on TV. I LOVE that my Wife gets it. I have always said that if it has to be explained the person will NEVER get it.
