It is the easiest spot to upgrade by bringing in speed. It is also the easiest spot to start at as a rook.
The guys who play outside the hashes and have a chance to win as rooks are the ones who go off the board before 57. Slot dudes last a lot longer. Now teams like KC utilizing weapons creatively helps these guys get more consideration to go earlier. But either way we could easily go get one of these types of players and make room for him by moving Kupp outside the hash.
In our offense, also, being outside the hash is a relative term. It's not like playing X for a mid 80s Coryell offense. If Kupp is healthy he's still gonna be a big part of the offense.
I look at the FAs and it's underwhelming. I don't think that's an expense we can take on. Draft is the way to go here IMO and the slot in particular is probably how they'll do it.
