Sure we could do better but our Oline isn't so bad that it is this drop-dead emergency.
I do think that if nothing else changed we could (and probably should) do better at Center, and it would be the most beneficial. In fact, I think it could be that we draft a Center high. But, the more I think about it, there's some chance we could get Alex Mack on a team friendly deal. And on what might be a Superbowl ready team, this could be the temporary upgrade we need since Mack is a known quantity.
And of course I understand that Whit isn't getting any younger. But that doesn't mean that the LOT issue has to be addressed this year, in a year where we're OK and have Noteboom as a capable back-up. What needs to be addressed are the issues that are likely to become weaknesses; like at Edge Rusher and at deep threat WR.
The other area we have to be aware of is CB. We might lose Hill and even with a 1st round tender, lose D. Williams. And Snead is always using higher picks on Secondary players, so it could become a position of need and we should never be surprised when he drafts one.
