It seems that a lot of people are under-estimating the Bucs. After the Rams beat them, I also overlooked the Bucs until late in the season. As a mathematician, I have computed power rankings for every NFL season back to 1945. I use a basic (but powerful) approach in statistics: least squares. This approach is based on all 256 games during the regular season, it doesn't involve any subjective input, and it has always been fairly well in line with other data based power rankings. Since anything can happen in any given game, there is no way to predict who will win, but the Bucs are better than the Chiefs according to the power rankings, which may be accessed
here. The Chiefs have some great players, but the Bucs have an amazing number of players who can make a difference on both sides of the ball. This Super Bowl seems to be a great match up and have the potential for a great game.
