As far as I am concerned, I do believe the Rams did what they think should be done to get better, Mathew is an amazing talent on a consistently bad team so yes, there is a good chance he gives us a better chance to get back to a SB, but, and this is a big BUT, Goff has been to two pro bowls and did take us to the SB. IMHO opinion McVay has to shoulder a lot of the blame when Goff did not perform, and definitely him and Snead od McSnead handled the situation as poor as they could, why not be upfront with a guy who has been nothing but a standup person? It is a business I get that, and if they criticize Goff because of his GB performance, how about the defense that could not stop a fly? And how abot Rodgers the allmight crapping thebed vs Tampa?
To me, the only good thing I take out of this trade is that McSnead now have no scapegoat unless Raheem Morris does not put on the field a top 5 defense.
