As far as I can remember he was mad at himself and with the offensive production and turnovers. Still effusive in praise IMO except for, well really Goff when you boil it down. I do think it was a business move because Goff wasn’t performing to whatever standard McVay expected but I think there was something else. It will be interesting trying to decipher what teammates and coaches say about him the next couple weeks or months.
Regardless of whether Snead and McVay are asshats, the Rams got better. Goff is a multimillionaire with a beautiful beach loving girlfriend (who I am sure is stoked about going to Detroit, lol) and is still a starting QB. The world is still his oyster. Do I feel bad for him? Not really.
