Unless they are on a date and probably over dinner. Or are teenagers on the phone.
I suspect they reviewed some game tape and probably had some harsh words over expectations vs. production, execution vs. play-calling, leadership including off-field effort and locker room issues with other players considering Goff's pay scale. Jared was always considered a "gym rat" and his relationship may have been interfering in that (hey, it happens and is understandable), less playbook and tape time. Goff has never been a cerebral QB and much of his success was effort vs. natural talent. I think both of those have been tapped out with Jared unless he can change the dedication/effort part.
I don't question Sean's desires, it's his team and nobody questions his lifelong dedication to the sport. He felt the heat, Goff pi$$ed him off and I expect it ended with a "We done here!" moment.
