agree that there are teams in need of a QB and Goff is a viable starter. I think the main factors working against him are:
1. salary, he is paid as a top 3 QB and is not a top 3 QB
2. Mobility, the league has changed, Jeff George would not last in this league as a starter the same way, running QBs are the new thing
3. System QB, how much this impacts evaluation by other teams is a factor
4. reason McVay went sour, we do not know for sure what happened, but this could make teams worried
Agree with some of your thoughts but the team acquiring Goff will not be paying top 3 QB money. Subtracting what the Rams have to pay, the other team will be paying Goff at a QB15 contract level which is appropriate for Goff's level.
