But doesn't the rank of the D also deal with possibly just not having enough quality? They ranked low in D but was that because the O scored so fast? A constant hurry up O can work, you can run with a hurry up O. Maybe they needed to go on deeper plays because they were always behind fighting both the other team and the clock?
TOP is a sign of dominance, but it's a dominance also by a D that gets off the field. IMO a fast paced offense can control the TOP too, if the D is getting off the field and not giving up the 3rd downs over and over. You can have it for 2-4 min. drives over the course of 60 min. can add up if your D can stay off the field as much as possible as well.
Running it all game may be because you have to?. IMO the key is being able to run it well and do it throughout situations in a game, not have to rely on it, that is when it becomes an issue.
