I completely AGREE one game proves absolutely NOTHING... so I haven't got a CLUE if he could step in... I would guess 'no'... but wow, NO CHANCE I'd say "not a chance".. (not that you did, Rampage). Stats from one comparable game are about as useful as @#$# on a boar, if you know what I mean.
Goff returned, hurt, and did VERY well... he deserves real credit for that. Wolford stepped in in what could have been the toughest situation I've ever seen a QB face and won the game for the RAMS.. which includes winning for GOFF.... I'll be damned if I'm going to just 'write him off' for that. Goff took a while to get where he is.... I don't think that's specific to Goff... I think other QB's deserve the same consideration.
My whole reply was just to point out that mokleran statement
"Goff just hasn't been doing something special that few others could replicate. He's been JAG and Wolford illustrated to me that it won't take the next Dan Marino or Steve Young to keep this offense rolling"
Didn't quite illiterate anything other than the opposite of what he says about Goff ...When you look at what Goff did to Cardinals four weeks earlier compared to what Wolf did to the same defense kinda makes that a statement seem contradictory to the facts .....that's all
Like I said I like Wolford, but let's not lose sight of facts with hyperbole
