I think a common denominator in Goff's bad games are due to some breakdowns up front..... this OL is good against most teams with smaller weaker front fours, but they couldn't handle a few teams this year ....and the results were reflected in Goff.....more important than a deep threat is a clean pocket, but yes, I think Kupp and Woods would love to have that deep threat back in the line up that's for sure. Goff's main issues are due to his turnovers and those seem to come from him trying to do too much.....I think something like that is very fixable and he did get much better at that after McVay called him out for it in the mid point of the season.
I'm a big believer that we still have the same Goff from those great seasons, we just don't have the same team around him right now....but it's not far off to getting back to that type of team soon.
