It’s not ideal to obtains QB after June 1st obviously but just listening to them talk I just get the feeling knowing the Rams are up to something for sure

The more I think about it, the more I don't want the Rams to pursue a high dollar guy. Watson, Dak, whoever. Take Watson for example. The Texans actually had him and barely mustered 5 wins. I'd much rather the Rams build up their team and add depth with their resources and let McVay hand pick a QB to benefit from all of that.
We have essentially been getting no real production from the QB spot so I don't fear letting a rookie or cheap, motivated vet come in and just keep the ship afloat. I am convinced McVay would provide much more than that and much more than we've been getting at QB though. Overspending at QB just isn't necessary for this team.
