Owners want not only a young energetic coach like him, but they want the way he does things. They want the system. They want the approach to details in everything from trainers to practice schedule to travel schedule. And like always they want the success.
What hurt us in that way was Lafleur lucking into the Green Bay job. I mean he was a perfect non-threatening but knowledgeable coach that Rodgers would get behind. And in the meantime he sure does make McVay look like a coach guru.
Imagine if Staley does well. That will hurt too.
