Everyone knows this is an issue of speculation.
For Goff it may be motivation to make the decision hard or to be good enough help a trade go thru. (personally that would motivate me even more). If a cigar smoking seahag did then why not a spicy rumor that Rams are trying to trade up. Goff has shown leadership and toughness that will impress many. He only needs to avoid the turnovers.
Ram teamates need to have success now. They know the team can change in a year and if we lose even more change possible even a rebuild so there is that.
I will focus on hoping we go out and win this game then the next and then the SB and I still will not care what we do in the offseason because this has got to be about winning.
As much as I like Wolford and wanted Rams to retain him I am more excited by the potential of Bryce Perkins. Wolford does not have Perkin's speed and I think Arm strength may be comparable. The intangible that I am aware of is that Wolford has been able to play and started a game and so that is nice caveat.
I say all this to affirm that I am a Ram fan over player fan and while I may love a player and I have seen them go: Kevin Green, Jerome Bettis, Kurt Warner and other great players. My focus never leaves the team. I have also seen some poor coaching and that has not changed my loyalties to the team.
