My post started out with the statement "It's not the # of TO's but the time they occur".If a team has a TO in the beginning of a game it's totally different then a team having a TO toward or at the end of a game, or in a crucial spot in a game. That's not being down on a QB, that's being down on ANY player who does that.
Wolford had a TO returned, it was at the start of a game....a team has and entire game to make amends.
Or do you not think that it's when a TO occurs rather than the # the guy has over a season? Goff has more than had his share of TO's that's a fact......my concern with his TO's isn't so much the # of them it's when they happen....driving in a close game like in the 2nd Seattle game and throwing that INT.....THE WORST possible time to have a mistake.....things like that are the things that annoy me most.
Now the # of TO's becomes a concern to me on the basis of it puts the rest of a team in hard spots and a lot of hard spots make it difficult for every player in the game...the D players especially. That then puts the onus on them to double down on doing the same to the opposition. But as I stated 1st, the time a TO happens can be more detrimental to an outcome of a game then just the # of them.
