You can love where you are but still explore opportunities. Especially in the the NFL. The chance to run your own team seems very tempting.
Though I think alot of the interest in him is to pick his brain and get to know him. I would be amazed if the Jets take a one year defensive coordinator as their coach. The Chargers job seems much less attractive given their financial situation.
