I stepped away from my tv briefly to make a pot of chili, and when I came back I saw the fumble recovery by AZ near the end zone. It looked 100% clear to me that he recovered the fumble, then ran into the end zone and was tackled clearly in the end zone. Yet somehow it was not called a safety. We ended up getting a safety a play or two later, so in the end it was the same result, but can anyone tell me why in the heck there wasn't a safety on the fumble itself?
