Why aren't the Rams running toss power sweep play?

Why are the Rams not running a toss power sweep play to allow our running backs to build momentum when they hit the line of scrimmage? Eric Dickerson used to gain so much head of steam that he would run over the defender......Instead we are always having Goff hand it off to the rb close to the line of scrimmage? We run way too many shot gun plays....ever since Goff took over as QB.
