Goff trusted Whit. He's already a shaky dude with guys getting anywhere near him on the rush. Mentally it's an issue he's gonna have to work through but the loss of Whit impacts the QB.
Re: Boom's play he is solid in pass pro but his run blocking is not good. Haven't rewatched that abortion of a game yet and gonna need a few days before I do, but vs Tampa it wasn't pretty. Bottom line is the dropoff from Whit to Boom in the run game is significant which is not a surprise. The guy was playing at a Pro Bowl level.
