The bucs have deep weapons--good ones in Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk. Though I wonder if the high frequency of deep shots is more a function of the lack of a checkdown option. Jones is out of the game in passing situations and Fournette is a bad joke as a receiver and possibly the worst check down option in the league. Does Brady think "I've got a maybe one on one with a strong receiving option as a primary read or a dude who cant catch a 2 yard pass uncovered as a check down.

When Brady had White he used the hell out of him. In my opinion, Brady goes to the options he believes in. If I were the Bucs at the trade deadline I would have offered alot for Himes from the Colts. He would take the Bucs offense over the top.

It's Arians who is responsible for the frequency of deep shots, not Brady.

A better check down option may help but that guy would probably be underutilized.
