it was whether it was worth sacrificing two 1st rd draft picks and the $ it tied up. The greatest benefit of early draft picks is you get a top talent at a discount for 4/5 years. We traded this privilege away in order to lock in a top talent at a premium. It is impossible to calculate whether this was the right or wrong move....both sides can be argued. Jalen is playing well and appears to be a team leader and quite popular with the team. Lets hope it continues.
