Ramsey is a legitimate NFL Defensive MVP candidate and more important the x-factor for Staley and the defense (and he signed a 5 year/$105mm contract with $71mm guaranteed.)
Peters has been solid for the Ravens, but the gambles and ole! tackling has popped up again. He signed for a fraction of Ramsey (3 yr/$42mm, $32mm guaranteed), but it is hard to argue with how important Ramsey is for the money as opposed to Peters for his money....
