It's hard sometimes and I'm one of them, complain that he goes away from the run too soon and the loss in the Super Bowl, but his energy is infectious plus what a great hire in Brandon Staley, whereas most of the NFL had never heard of the guy. Quite amazing and I hope he's the Head Coach for many years to come....Posting that, I should also appreciate Jared Goff more, but that's going to be very hard for me because of usually one or two blunders per game.
How about how he gets criticized for running on 3rd and 8 in Tampa late in the game? He played for a 3 point lead and giving Brady the ball back with just under 3 minutes to play.
McVay has a feel for the game that not everyone appreciates, especially late in games.
