Jalen Ramsey flat out took Metcalf out of the game. Yes of course it goes without saying that the other 10 guys contributed mightily. And the Rams were able to put some pressure on Russ. But Russ consistently throws under pressure and completes passes. DK Metcalf just couldn't get himself open enough for Russ to throw the ball his way.

Has nothing to do with the other 10 guys way of looking at it.

Quite simply it's this--Jalen did not cover Metcalf on every snap.

Sometimes they altered the defense and either someone else had Metcalf or they were in zone.

So yes when JR was covering Metcalf there are zero receptions.

But JR did not cover him every snap for the entire game. So Metcalf does have 2 receptions, they're just not on Ramsey.
