I'm hard on Goff but I'm a big supporter. I think he's our QB going forward and nothing changes my mind there. I have followed him since his sophomore year at Cal. I expect a lot out of him.
So "Good" has to jump out as beyond expectation. "Bad and Ugly" are my criticals ...
I didn't have Donald in good or great this game either ... he had an average game.
I thought he had a better game than Russell did.
Good stuff as usual alyo
Just curious if this review is based on real time view or do you actually watch it more than once?
I say that because at first glance in real time we only seem to remember the bad, but after I watched the ALL 22 and a condensed network version I thought it was probably Goff’s best game of the year.... he was absolutely money on third down and kept many drives alive with great throws and quick thinking....I think the fact that he didn’t have any TD’s is just a reflection of how good we’ve become at running the ball in the red zone these days, but Goff is a huge reason why we got down there so many times after threeTD drives of 77,88,93 yards...there was also about 3-4 drops that really would have made his numbers even better. I don’t have a problem with the choice to hit Reynolds underneath for the safe throw instead of try to get one to Higs since we scored two plays later anyway and I think he just trust Reynolds much more than Higs right now and I don’t blame him... Reynolds is going to get a nice offer from a few teams this offseason
Btw, Donald doesn't belong in those categories this week as he was not really doing much, but he is obviously making players like Floyd a lot of money next year if you know what I mean
