This team just cannot take on another $12M+ extension in 2021. They can't. Dumping Brockers saves them $4.7M (though they eat $5.1M). I think you hope for the best with Floyd and wish him well when he gets a big deal elsewhere in March and the Rams get the 97th-99th (comp.) pick in 2022 for him.

Floyd is already on the books for $3.33M in dead money if they let him walk. I have a feeling they find a way to restructure and retain him. But...a lot depends on what and/or if the salary cap number declines due to Covid.
