I'm not so sure that the Rams need to make a move there. But, if they did, they would help themselves if they could re-sign him to the PS. It's hard for me to imagine that any team would want to pick him up on their 53 as their kicker right now.
But, kickers are weird. He could suddenly get in his groove and be a great pick up for a long time.
It's not that he's been horrible, but missing extra points is scary thought to most fans and his kickoffs are very inconsistent.... it seems pretty clear right now that McVay would rather punt or go for it than trot him out there for a 50+ yard FG....all we can do is hope that he starts to nail some kicks and gets his confidence up and does what you say and become a great pick up
