The Rams May be doing something differently scheme-wise, but let's not confuse that with the dearth of talent that the Rams have at DE and OLB. The Rams played against two of the best running QBs for years in Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick, and the Rams pounded them.
Scheme is not holding the players on the outside of the Rams' back; talent is. It really is no more complicated than that.
