One extra point missed and one short FG blocked. Plus Bonamego has a history of keeping a rookie kicker
in the last week before having to let him go and bring in a new kicker. Precedent, perhaps? (See the link below)

Punt Return
So Cooper Kupp is returning kicks, even though Webster is capable and we signed Raymond Calais as a special team return man. Then Coop misjudges a punt and it is downed inside the 5. Next time Coop catches the punt and returns it 9 yards before fumbling. Where is the coaching? Wouldn't you expect a Sean McVay coach to say "That's on me - I need to coach Cooper up on that"?
We have a single punt return and fumble for 8 yards. Poor, even for 2 games.
Kickoff Return
We are averaging 19.5 yards on 2 returns. Ranking is 14th. Meh.
Punt coverage
5 punts for a 47.6 average. Net is 39.6 which ranks 23rd
Kickoff coverage
5 kickoffs for 21.8 yards, but one kick against the eagles would have been returned to the 45 yard line, if not for a holding call.
Topping it off is the great call that Bones made for Dallas. Ironic that Bones created this with Hekker and GZ last year. Is Bonamego up to par with this type of creativity?
Hey, it's only 2 games but our O and D are playing so well that STs stands out as a sore thumb. I'd like to see Lirim signed ASAP although McVay is not likely to do that until he loses a game or Sloman implodes. I'd just rather it happen before Teams costs us a game.
