My hope is that the D will get more aggressive later in the year

Bend but dont break doesn't always work - need some closers too. But he does seem to work well with what he has so far. Lets see how they progress. Getting turnovers was a nice thing last week. Should able to get some this week too. I can see his disguised coverages giving Allen some trouble - Dak and Wentz seem confused at times.

New coach, new scheme, and five starters who weren't even Rams a year ago (Ramsey, Fuller, Micah, Floyd, Young).

Staley can be forgiven for being conservative early, and I hope that's what he's doing. I hope that after the players get comfortable with the basics and with each other, and after opposing offenses start getting better at attacking this defense, Staley and Friends will get more creative and aggressive, including with finding ways to get after the QB.

The have Murray twice and Wilson twice. Two VERY mobile QBs, yes, but the "contain/no pressure" approach that worked against Wentz won't fly against those two.
