1st - Wade was/is a huge fan of Under. Its his bread and butter.
2nd - An under requires a fast, penetrating 3T. Donald fits the bill.
3rd - The under is susceptible to a running QB
4th - the over is more a 4-3 defense that allows the 3T to be more aggressive
So what am I getting at? It may be a coincidence that the Rams are running a lot of Over fronts, because they are keeping running QBs Prescott and Wentz inside the pocket.
Or Staley realized what I thought all along. Let AD hunt. Its harder to do that from such a disciplined under, and so much easier to get after it from an over. (as long as you have aggressive safeties.)
A couple of things...
Where have you been?
Can you explain a little more why it's called under/over?
The Rams drafted 2 safeties to add to the one last year. Was that part of a plan to have more aggressive safety play?
