VinnyB told me emphatically that Snead and staff researched the heck out of Goff and Wentz. Big thing they uncovered was Wentz propensity to put himself in harms way and get injured.

When wentz was playing baseball in HS, he would run into walls trying to make impossible catches and constantly hurt himself. Snead said it’s in his dna, and very unlikely to change. That’s a big reason they picked Goff.
