So name all the qbs who play well when their OL caves for an entire game.

Is it...dozens?

Maybe 20?

Or 10?

Or 2?

So why is Goff expected to be different?

Protections are a synchronic thing involving both the qb and OL. It involves more than the raw play of the qb or the raw play of the OL, it includes things like seeing blitzes pre-snap. When that system falters very few qbs come through.

It's natural for fans to scrutinize their own qb but it's not objective to hold them to different criteria.
