I'm a graduate of Garces Memorial HS, home of the Rams.
I'm a proud graduate of Long Beach St, home of the 49'ers. Until recently, we even had a mascot similar (if not identical) to the SF team. Trust me, the irony isn't lost on me! Love "the Beach," hate the SF team!
BTW - Long Beach State retired our mascot, Prospector Pete, and now use a Shark. Kinda hope our fight song becomes 'Mack the Knife"...
