Ya, I think the Jerry Gray's drop in play, (and his injury), added to Ellard's hold out and drop off and Greg Bell not being there stopped the Rams from being 9-7....and yep, my fav Leroy Irvin not being there was huge.
I just saw the whole season (12 games of 16)....Everett did pretty well, and the O line didn't have a drop off at all.
In 4-5 losses there were stupid things and mental mistakes that they didn't make in 1989. I don't know how they did so
well with no athletes in the front 7 in 1989.....well, you know, no quick twitch guys....please don't say K Greene--the master
of FBs and TEs and the minion of O Tackles.
