I thought they might be waiting out Bortles in hope that he'd accept another small contract (As opposed to not playing anywhere) but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I would guess Wolford has the inside track, which makes me nervous. I'd prefer a vet off the bench. But I trust McVay & team to know more about him than I do, and since Wolford has some experience with the AAF, he can be considered a vet of a type. His 95.9 rating there has to be worth something.
