I'm not so sure the Rams wanna pay 14m/yr to JJ at FS. That kinda money should go to pass-rushers. imo
That's why we drafted Burgess & Fuller. Insurance.
I kinda feel that's okay...cuz Burgess is gonna be good at FS...maybe even Fuller too.
We have cobbled a good group of UDFA CBs & DBs these last 5yrs...and seem to keep finding gems. That saves us money for the big-ticket positions that every team needs (LT, EDGE guys, WRs, etc). We'll see if that's the strategy they are playing....and if it works!! I tend to think it just might.
