Zac Stacy's post Rams story is somewhat interesting

July 04, 2020 10:48AM
Zack, I appreciate and am grateful for your Oline, Cap, and QB watching with detailed analysis among your other contributions to the board. I am in agreement that a solid Oline is foundational. Without solid Oline play, it is difficult for any other position on offense to consistently thrive.

He was not an elite talent but I liked Stacy's tough running style. Zac Stacy's 2013 season is worth revisiting:
5th round selection with the 160th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft
2013 STL 14 games 250 carries 973 yards 3.9 yards per carry 7 TD rushing 26 receptions 141 yards 1TD receiving.

On May 20, 2018, Stacy officially came out of retirement and signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Stacy played in, and was his team's leading rusher in both preseason games; he accumulated 51 yards on 11 carries, in addition to catching 3 passes for 39 yards. Despite this, Stacy lost out to recently signed former teammate Tre Mason, who had only one carry in the only preseason game he appeared in.

Saskatchewan Roughriders
On May 30, 2018, Mason signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL. Mason's usage increased following the suspension and release of Jerome Messam on voyeurism charges. With increased playing time, Mason proved to be a key contributor to a lackluster Roughriders offense, including producing a 20 carry 117 yard effort during the 2018 Banjo Bowl, a Riders win. Despite playing in all 18 games, Mason was held without a score until near the end of the year, when he had three rushing touchdowns in the final six games of the regular season. Mason finished the year with a higher rushing average than a receiving average. He missed the Roughrider's lone playoff game due to injury. During the off-season Roughriders signed William Powell in free agency, at which time Mason's injury was revealed to be a damaged ACL requiring surgery, which could keep Mason from playing in 2019. He was released by the Riders on May 10, 2019.
2018 Saskatchewan Roughriders 18 games 160 carries 809 yards 5.1 yards per carry 3 TD 21 receptions 103 yards

Memphis Express
January 2019, Stacy signed with the Memphis Express of the newly-founded Alliance of American Football for the 2019 season. CBS Sports reported in February 2019, shortly before the 2019 AAF season was set to commence, that Stacy was expected to be among the "names to watch" for the Express in the upcoming season. In the Express' week one 26-0 loss to the Birmingham Iron, Stacy rushed 12 times for 58 yards.

On February 16, 2019 against the Arizona Hotshots, Stacy rushed for 101 yards before he was pulled out of the game, becoming the league’s first running back to eclipse the century mark. Stacy was placed on injured reserve on April 1, 2019; the AAF announced shortly thereafter that it was suspending all football operations. In 8 games played, Stacy rushed for 317 yards and 3 touchdowns on 100 carries, and caught 18 passes for 138 yards and another touchdown.
