If Shanahan cut him because he didn't fit their offense then I would assume he wouldn't fit McVay's offense either.

Though it would be a big PR move to sign him and might win the team some fans that they other wise might not. If he were to sign with San Diego that would be a set back to trying to win the hearts of LA football fans.
