People can post what they want about the uniforms. No one has said otherwise. Well...unless you are.

Like it or not, "people can say anything" includes me saying a debate about uniforms can't go anywhere (since it's purely a debate about taste.) I can't have that opinion? I mean I can, right?

Are you ironically saying I can't say that? While falsely claiming I said someone else can't express their own view?

Gator and I are old friends and have discussed many topics besides the Rams. He knows full well that I would never make the futile and useless gesture of telling him what he can say on a topic. He also knows that I am going to feel equally free to express myself (ie. "uniform discussions can't go anywhere" ). I know that he knows that we can have this minor difference without it changing anything about an old friendship.

We already know that virtually everyone speaks their own personal opinions and tastes as if they were truths handed down by the football gods.

But they are still nothing more than differing personal opinions and tastes, and those kinds of "debates" go nowhere".

By saying "What's the point?" and "those kinds of "debates" go nowhere" come across as implying there is no point in posting about it. I get it. You like the uni but because YOUR opinion is different doesn't mean it's "pointless" for othersto post about it. Also, I didn't "ironically" say you cannot post about it. (not sure where you got that from) You can post as much as you want about how much you like the uni's.
