I posted something that I thought would be interesting to you guys the other day AND that I thought was Rams related.
I watched my first game on Saturday as my soccer team (The Rams, naturally) kicked off our again on the road in what is normally a hostile away ground of Millwall in South London.
It was an eerie experience and took a LOT away from the experience even if we did win to boost our chances of making the playoffs and get back into the Premier League.
The stats in Germany and now England are showing that playing without a crowd has - rather unsurprisingly - removed the HFA, and I'm wondering if this did happen it could help us rather than hinder us?
We've seen so many games since the move back to LA in which we had little to no HFA, and this must hurt the team.
On the flip side, teams like KC, Seattle, Green Bay, and a bunch more get a lot from HFA.
Imagine Seattle without the 12th man?
I really don't want football without the atmosphere, but no way will we get it any other way this year and if it helps the Rams, weeeeellll.
Thoughts?
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
